Plan-A prides itself on providing the best possible service to all clients backed by extensive experience and expertise. The company was established by Andrew Pywell, a Chartered Town Planner with over 20 years’ experience gained within both the public and private sector.

Andrew’s public sector experience was gained working for local authorities in both Hampshire and Wiltshire where he specialised in planning policy – in particular, he was responsible for identifying potential housing sites for allocation and formulating associated policy. He also gained extensive experience as expert witness at Local Plan Inquiry and appeal.

Andrew’s private sector experience includes work for both a specialist planning and surveying consultancy and a large national consultancy. He has advised a wide range of clients and promoted their development interests through all stages of the planning process from site appraisal through to inquiry. He has had considerable success in his consultancy roles - helping many of his clients achieve their development objectives.
