Andrew founded the company in 2009 after many years working in both the public and private sector. Having already overseen a wide variety of successful projects, Andrew continues to direct the company's growth and development. He is highly adaptable and commercially minded whilst also having the sensitivity and diplomacy to successfully handle both complex and contentious planning issues. 

Fiona Martin

Senior Planner

Fiona has six years experience in the Planning Industry, three of which were spent in the Local Government before she started with Plan-A in June 2018. Fiona has enjoyed the opportunity to work collaboratively at Plan-A on a variety of different projects. More recently Fiona has been working on self build projects for replacement home schemes and individual dwellings. Outside of work, she enjoys allotmenting, baking and walking her dog.

Lydia Pywell

BA Hons Design

Marketing and Design Manager

Since joining the company in April 2021, Lydia has worked closely with the team on re-designing the company website and social media platforms. As well as working on the company rebrand, part of her role as Design Manager includes providing technical design drawings to assist relevant planning applications. Outside of work, Lydia runs her own Stationery businesses, enjoys drawing, running and being by the sea.

Having joined Plan-A when it was first established, 'Plant A' is firmly rooted in the company's history and (literally) continues to grow as part of the team! 

Nicky Pugh

BA Hons, MSC, MRTPI

Associate

Nicky is a chartered town planner with extensive experience gleaned from working in both private and public sectors. She has been with Plan-A since September 2014 and is often involved with some of our more complex cases, where she enjoys working closely with clients to identify an appropriate strategy to help achieve the ultimate goal. Outside of work, Nicky enjoys yoga, singing, hill walking and water skiing. 

Penny Seakins

Bsc Phys/Pharm | Bsc Physiotherapy

Office Manager

Penny has a Science and Healthcare professional background and following a career break, her journey with Plan-A began. She has been a member of the team since 2015 and she enjoys the challenge of day-to-day office administration, invoicing, book-keeping/accounts and implementation of new IT systems. Outside of work, Penny enjoys running, singing and spending time with family and friends.

John Vale

Associate
 

John is a town planner with extensive experience secured from working in both private and public sectors. He has been with Plan-A since February 2022 and is enjoying the opportunity to work on a range of more complex cases. Outside of work, John enjoys running, singing, the cinema and eating out at new restaurants.
